Ramp & Parking

Ramp & Parking Area is For Hanover Lakes Home Owners Only.

Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.

All Watercraft Must Be Owned & Registered by Hanover Lakes Home Owner.

Only trailers associated with registered boats may be parked in this area.

Registered boats must have a decal provided by HOA

Trailer parking area is for Parking Only.

No parties, meetings, or gatherings are permitted in this area.

Do Not Park Boat at Dock or in Front of Ramp

Short Term Parking Only for Vehicles & Trailers

If extended parking is needed, discuss with HOA first to avoid being towed. Vehicles parking in area without authorization will be towed.


Canals

NO SWIMMING

Hours of Operation in Canal

Half Hour Before Sunrise - Half Hour After Sunset

No Wake Zone Speed Limit

5 MPH

Maintain Required Distance From Others

~100 ft

Permitted Watercraft Max Size

26 ft Long & 10 ft high

No Jet skis or Air Boats. Man powered Watercraft such as canoes and kayaks are permitted in the Navigable Retention Pond.

Watercraft Must Be Registered:

Under FL Law & With HOA

Upon registration, you will be issued a decal.

Max Watercraft in Use

Two In Use at Same Time

No Owner shall be permitted to have in operation on the Navigable Retention Pond at the same time more than two (2) Watercraft

Must Be Insured

$100k liability & $25k property damage

Such policy of insurance shall contain an endorsement naming the Association as additionally insured. The Owner shall provide the Association with a copy of the declarations page and Certificate of Insurance.

Watercraft Must be in Seaworthy Condition

Watercraft showing unusual leakage must be repaired or removed. Owner is responsible for removing sunken watercraft within 24 hours. 

Required Safety Equipment

Must Have All Safety Equipment Required Under FL Law.

Exhaust Must Be Muffled Reasonably

No Watercraft shall be operated on the Navigable Retention Pond if the sound level of such Watercraft exceeds the sound level emitted by the Watercraft when originally equipped by the manufacturer.

No Laundry Hung to Dry on Boats or Docks

Watercraft Deck Must Be Free of Debris

including but not limited to: bottles,

papers, trash and unsightly materials

No Throwing Items Overboard

Owner will be responsible for all cleanup costs.

No Advertising or Soliciting

Advertising or soliciting shall not be permitted, nor shall any "For Sale," "For Charter," "For Hire" or any other such signs be placed on Watercraft.

No illegal Activity or Drugs

No Anchoring Overnight

Also pertains to the attachment of Watercraft to buoys.

No Racing or Other Dangerous Activties

No Recreational Towing

Including but not limited to people on water skies, or an aquaplane, wakeboard, inner tubes, sleds, or similar device.

No Fueling on Water or Dock

No fueling is permitted for Watercraft on the water or on any Dock. All fueling will only be permitted on land from above ground storage tanks and/or handheld containers.


Operating Watercraft

Must Be 16 or Older

If Under 21, Must Carry Watercraft Photo ID

If Under 21, Must Be Licensed by Coast Guard

Or accompanied by person over 21 years of age or someone over 18 with a Watercraft License.
